If the RIB boat still spins frequently after adjusting the motor mounting angle, the following reasons may be responsible.

1 Propeller issues. An inappropriate pitch of the propeller may prevent it from effectively pushing water under load. If the pitch is too large, the motor may fail to reach sufficient speed, leading to frequent spinning; if the pitch is too small, the motor can achieve high speed but will have insufficient thrust, making it prone to spinning in waves. Additionally, a worn, damaged propeller or one entangled with debris will also impair its performance and cause spinning.

Hull center of gravity distribution: Uneven center of gravity distribution of the hull may cause the stern to sink excessively or lift up during operation. For instance, if cargo or personnel are concentrated on one side or the rear of the boat, the stern's draft depth will increase, submerging the propeller too deeply. This not only increases resistance but may also cause spinning due to changes in water flow; conversely, if the center of gravity is too far forward, the stern will lift up, resulting in insufficient propeller submersion depth and easy spinning.

2 Motor malfunctions. Worn bearings inside the motor, excessive gear clearance, or poor lubrication can all cause unstable motor operation and spinning. Furthermore, damage or performance degradation of the motor's Hall element will affect motor control, leading to spinning and jitter.

3. Transmission system problems. Worn universal joints of the drive shaft, a bent drive shaft, or loose drive shaft connection components may cause power loss during transmission, triggering motor spinning.

4. Excessive load: When the RIB boat carries too many people or too much cargo, or operates at high speed, against the wind, or against the current, the motor load will increase. If the motor power is insufficient to handle the excessive load, spinning may occur.
